Boston Green Company continues to expand their talented team.

Popovich brings more than 18 years of experience in bulk liquid and dry bulk marine terminal operations. His background covers petroleum and third-party cargo handling, safety and environmental compliance, capital planning, and maintenance coordination. That hands-on experience gives him a clear view of the regulatory, safety, and operational pressures terminal and industrial clients face every day.

Before joining Boston Green Company, Popovich served as Director of Operations at Sprague Operating Resources LLC. In that role, he oversaw bulk liquid and dry bulk operations at five terminals in New Hampshire and Maine, led and mentored more than 100 terminal personnel and site leaders, and managed annual operating budgets exceeding $30 million. He also coordinated more than $5 million in capital projects each year and partnered with HSE teams, regulators, and emergency management organizations on compliance and emergency preparedness programs.

Popovich built his career from the ground up. He started as an operator in Everett, Massachusetts, in 2008 and advanced through terminal supervisor and terminal manager roles in New York, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Automotive Technology, with a minor in Business Management, from Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology in Boston.

“Dmitro brings a level of firsthand operational expertise that is rare in business development,” said Adam Dennison, CEO of Boston Green Company. “He has managed the exact challenges our terminal, marine, and industrial clients face every day — from regulatory compliance and emergency preparedness to large-scale capital programs. That experience translates directly into better solutions for our clients, and we are thrilled to have him leading this important growth area for our company.”

Popovich expressed equal enthusiasm for the opportunity. “Boston Green’s commitment to safety, compliance, and delivering real results for clients aligns perfectly with the way I’ve approached my entire career,” said Popovich. “I look forward to working alongside their team to help terminal operators, marine facilities, and industrial clients build smarter, more sustainable environmental programs that keep their operations running safely and efficiently.”

In his new position, Popovich will work closely with terminal operators, marine facilities, and industrial clients to design customized environmental and material handling programs. He will focus on strengthening Boston Green Company’s presence in the terminal and marine sectors while delivering the responsive, reliable service the company is known for.
