Dallas Fort Worth’s Premier Wellness Festival Expands to The Star with Meagan Good, Congresswoman Crockett, Top Fitness Instructors & Performances by Dorrough
FRISCO, TX, UNITED STATES, September 10, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Epic Fit Fest is thrilled to announce that general admission tickets are still available for Epic Fit Fest 2026: Revenge Body Edition, taking place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM at Elite Performance Training at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
Founded by Dr. Kristi Andrew, PharmD and Latosha “DJ Duffey” Duffey, Epic Fit Fest has become DFW’s premier wellness festival, bringing together fitness, wellness, culture and community for an immersive experience created with women at the center. After welcoming more than 1,100 attendees in 2025, the festival returns bigger and bolder than ever!
This year’s theme, REVENGE BODY, moves beyond the traditional idea of physical transformation. It represents becoming whole after the storm, reclaiming your confidence and choosing yourself mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically.
“When we say ‘Revenge Body,’ we’re not talking about getting skinny for somebody who hurt you,” said Dr. Kristi Andrew, Co-Founder. “This is about what happens when a woman decides to choose herself again. Maybe you’ve gone through a divorce, loss, burnout, disappointment or simply a season where you lost yourself. Your revenge is becoming whole again.”
HEADLINING THE FESTIVAL
Epic Fit Fest 2026 features an impressive lineup of influential voices, fitness leaders and sponsors including iWoman Media, Orchid and lululemon:
Epic Conversations Panel will bring together award-winning actress and producer Meagan Good, U.S. Representative and Dallas native Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, entrepreneur and comedian B. Simone, and award-winning journalist and media personality Tashara Parker for an honest conversation about transformation, rebuilding, purpose, confidence and wellness.
Headline fitness instructors Leiana Oliver, creator of Body Slei, and Mrs. 2 Weeks Out are traveling from Atlanta to lead signature workout experiences. A full day of fitness programming will feature instructors from across the country offering everything from strength training and HIIT to Pilates, yoga, dance and recovery.
Dallas’ own Dorrough will headline the festival with a special live performance, bringing music, culture and hometown energy to the celebration.
MORE THAN A WORKOUT
Epic Fit Fest was intentionally designed to address the whole woman. Throughout the day, attendees can experience fitness classes, wellness programming, live DJs, entertainment, the Vendor Village, food, national and local brand activations, community experiences and opportunities to connect. The festival combines physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and financial wellness in an environment where women can move, learn, laugh, connect and experience joy.
The festival also features the Play Like a Girl Village, a partnership with the nonprofit Play Like a Girl, supported by Foot Locker, that creates an intentional experience for young women, offering opportunities to experience movement, fitness, leadership, STEM, confidence building and female empowerment.
THE GROWTH OF EPIC FIT FEST
Epic Fit Fest launched in 2024 with 481 attendees and more than 30 vendors. In 2025, the festival grew to more than 1,100 attendees, 64 classes, 25 instructors and 70+ vendors. For 2026, Epic Fit Fest continues its expansion at one of North Texas’ most recognizable sports destinations, bringing together 1,000+ attendees, approximately 70 vendors and 20 sponsors and brand partners for its largest one-day festival experience yet.The festival’s rapid expansion reflects a deeper mission that resonates with its audience. For Latosha “DJ Duffey” Duffey, the co-founder of Epic Fit Fest, the numbers tell only part of the story.
“Fitness has always been part of my life, but Epic is about so much more than looking good,” she explains. “We wanted to create something that feels like us, the music, the energy, the culture, the friendships and the way we show up for each other. You can come to Epic for the workout, but you leave with a community. That’s what makes this different.”
